Quorum Treaty book
“The Quorum Treaty® book will be released in late 2021.” – author Glen Rothlisberger
When all levels of the interplanetary government are infested with corruption, can the seekers of truth prevail? May the stars be aligned.
As Crown Yesmane Galina of Libb prepares for war, she is intent on continuing her father’s legacy. She is not sure if it is her disdain for the self-serving representatives that run the Alliance or her desire to avenge the death of father at the clawed hands of the Valkers that spurs her on.
Clueless to the Valker threat, Earth is invaded without provocation. Elite serviceman Zach Salt’s world is shattered. His wife dies in the invasion, carrying their unborn child. The last order he is given by his mentor-General is to protect Blue Leader, a leader of the Alliance who came to warn Earth of the cataclysmic threat to their planet. Together Blue Leader and Zach escape, bound for the space station Quorum Treaty. There, Zach is now left struggling with his purpose. He left Earth, but for what? Revenge? Duty? Humanity? Perhaps all those reasons, but in what order Zach cannot say.
It now falls on Zach and Yesmane to halt the Valker attack on Quorum Treaty. At stake is the fate of the Alliance, the liberation of Earth, and the lives of millions of ordinary citizens.
The intergalactic war against the reptilians (Valkers) reaches the star system of Pretenia, sending shock waves through the Alliance of Planets. This is where we meet main character Yesmane Galina, the Crown of Libb, who takes it upon herself to petition the Interstellar Quorum to mount an offensive. Meanwhile and far away on Earth, we find the Valkers attacking the homes of Zach Salt and Alzarrae. They live in different cities but both ascend their Earthly world into the universe of D’Olex.
Author Glen Rothlisberger Q&A
How long does it take to write a novel?
It has taken over a year to pen all the chapters. It is now close to what I am calling the “good draft”. It may take many months before a final manuscript is ready.
How long will the Quorum Treaty book be?
It will end up being around 90K words; fairly standard for a science fiction book. Nothing is set in stone yet. Polishing the “good draft” might mean cutting out some content to tighten the story. Less is more they say.
